Java is truly an island with a thousand waterfalls and no better place to start exploring them than in Malang. Oh did I mention it’s home to active volcanoes?!
My next stop on Java Island, Yogyakarta, proved itself to be an incredible adventure. Scooter convoys at dawn, chasing waterfalls, temples at golden hour, famous street food, it had it all!
Had I known what would be in store for me on Java Island I would have gone sooner. This place is the gem in the bosom of SE Asia. You’re free to roam among the jungle here.
