El Salvador where the sun, surf and seafood come to mix. The only imminent danger was running out of room for pupusas and cervezas. My quick, gluttonous, week spent in paradise.
The world is a huge place and there are destinations you should and shouldn’t travel to. Honduras has had a bad rep for a long time. That didn’t deter me from heading there to swim with sharks or eat my fill of baleadas either!
We travel for all different reasons, but for me the number one reason has always been about FOOD. My tour of Latin America both central and south and all the flavors it brought with it. Reliving those local dishes and memories of breaking bread with new mates.
Why would you want to spend almost 24 hours hiking a volcano on absolutely no sleep? Because it’s amazing, that’s why! Summiting Fuego was a beautiful experience.
The best way to learn Spanish … is in a Spanish speaking country! First on my list of to-do’s in CA was a crash course in Spanish. What a whirlwind it ended being! 10/10 would recommend!
